This is my personal doll from the Fire-Flies Doll Convention; thinning out my personal collection along with my doll stock from when I had a Vogue franchise. I do have one more, hate to sell them but I will.
The theme was "Rich Aunt" and we got a Jill in an outfit that matches Ginny's. They came with ice skates and a whole big box of gifts Aunt Jill gave to her beloved niece. One gift at every meal! BUT! You are only buying the Ginny doll as you see her here.You will also get ice skates. No sled. If you really want Aunt Jill in her matching outfit I will list her. Right now she is in my glass cabinet watching other Ginnys falling down at the ice rink!
The coat and hat are extremely wonderfully designed; why China chose the stiffer felt I have no idea, they followed every detail otherwise. The holly and berries are hand sewn beads. The dress is a soft fabric that is not cotton, maybe rayon, that is wonderful to the touch. very nice long sleeve cotton blouse.
China started raising their prices, so to still keep the cost what they had been, Vogue had the dolls shipped in gift bags rather than the traditional boxes. You will get this doll in a traditional box but it will not be one made for her; as I said, she came in a nylon see-through gift bag. I don't think I kept the COA. Maybe we didn't get one.
