Vintage Vogue Strung Transitional painted lash Ginny doll, Western Girl (Collector's Encyclopedia of Vogue Dolls, p.88) 1951, from Frolicking Fable Series; adorable pale face with bright cheek color, brown lashes and brows, and root beer eyes; auburn mohair has part of original rubber band still attached; in dire need of re-stringing! head and limbs are wobbly!  dressed in black cotton(feels like a light-weight flannel) one-piece dress, with silver trim(no tag) and matching undies; hook/eye closure; attached western pistol; cowboy hat looks to be original; center snap shoes have one silver, one black button, but look original; no neck ribbon;
No marks, fading, or splits in plastic;
