  • Condition: Early Strung Painted Eye Vogue doll in Mint condition. Blonde mohair, side-part wig in excellent, curly condition. Painted,side glancing blue eyes, lovely coloring and the much sought after pale lips and soft cheek color. Lashes and brows are distinct and brown in color Evenly blushed cheeks with no scuffs. Clean, hard plastic strung body, no seam splits, stains or odors. Well strung and can stand on her own. PERFECT! Early Cooky outfit is in immaculate condition with attached panties. Dress closes in back with original hook and eye closure, no rust. and original pink ribbon tie with fraying on the ends. No holes, stains or problems.

    Description

    1949 Vogue Strung, RARE, Painted Eye Pre-Ginny with side-glancing blue eyes that make her look very shy and appealing! She has  evenly-blushed soft pink cheek blush with no scuffs, and pale, peach lips. She wears a side-part blonde mohair wig in a soft, curly flip
    in excellent condition with no thin spots or problems.  Her eyelashes and brows are distinct and brown in color. Appropriately marked "Vogue Doll" on her back, and "Vogue" on her neck, she is an early strung hard plastic doll, can stand on her own, hold all poses and has no body seam splits, stains, fading, odors or problems.  She has an even, rich body color that matches her face exactly.
    She is dressed in the 1949 Group K- Dainty Afternoon series #8-5C Cooky pink dress. It is not tagged, but can be verified in both the Izen and Stover book and the Barbara Clark book. The dress is a pale pink organdy dress trimmed in lavish eyelet lace and pink picot trim.  It closes in back with the original hook and eye closure with no rust and the original ribbon waist tie with frayed ends. The outfit is in remarkably lovely condition with no damage or stains. Her pink hair bow is new. She wears immaculate white nylon socks and pink oilcloth shoes with pink ribbon ties. She has always been kept out of the light and under a glass dome, so she is immaculate and sure to please.
