Description
Darling, excellent condition/ near mint 1958 Vogue Ginny Bent-Knee Walker doll with a smoothly-working walking mechanism and knees that bend appropriately, blue working sleep eyes and an evenly-toned body. She is appropriately marked on her back "Ginny Vogue Dolls Inc." and a long patent number. She is also marked on her neck in back "Vogue". Ginny retains heroriginal
carrot red wig in immaculate condition, fashioned in braids with thick bangs and the original yellow ribbon ties. Her cheek blush is perfect with no scuffs, eyebrows are a distinctly dark brown, and her black molded eyelashes are intact. Ginny has a nice, even skin tone with no fading, stains, seam splits or odors. She can stand on her own and hold poses.
She will come dressed in her original #1114 dress from 1958; a crisp yellow cotton dress with lace edging at the neck and sleeves with two white accent "buttons" on the front bodice. The dress is tagged with a crisp "
Vogue Dolls Inc.
" tag and has no stains, rips, fading or smells, and has not been laundered. She wears her original white lace-trimmed panties, replaced yellow socks and white "Ginny"marked Mary Jane shoes with intact knobs, but the closure parts have splits. Her hair ribbons are original and match her dress. The stand in some of the photos is not included.
