Vogue Ginny 1956 "Kinder Crowd" #6125 Boxed Dress and Headband

1956 mint condition, never-laundered
Medford Mass. Vogue
tagged  "Kinder Crowd" #6125 dress; a textured yellow cotton dress with original, attached black velvet waist tie.  The dress has no closure other than the waist ribbon.  That is the way it was made in 1956.  It has the original cabbage rose decoration at the waist and is edged in lavish Vogue lace.  The correct yellow plastic "Ginny" marked headband is also included.  This dress never came with matching panties or bloomers, and the boxes became more like envelopes as Vogue began cutting corners on costs in 1956!
This is the correct, marked box for this little dress and headband.  The box is in rough shape with torn corners and wrinkles in the cellophane, but the box kept this Ginny dress in near mint condition!  This dress often has stains from the black waist tie, but this dress is crisp and has no stains, and the cabbage rose is perfect!
