We are offering in this auction a very special and pretty early strung Vogue Ginny 8" hard plastic doll from the 1952 Kindergarten Series of dolls named "Linda" #21.  She is a tosca redhead side part with lush hair, clean and excellent plus or better condition.  Hair retains the factory flip style with no re-combing or styling.  Some stray hairs that is typical of these early dolls and even the most mint in box doll has a few.  They may show as marks or lines on her face, it is just a stray hair.  She is marked on her back Vogue Doll and may have been restrung as the old rubber bands give way which is common and acceptable to the majority of collectors.  She has no splits, cracks or repairs to her body.  Beautiful blue eyes that generally open and close freely most of the time.  She has overall good coloring;  tosca visible light brows and lashes and nice factory cheek coloring with no scrapes.    Ginny is wearing her untagged yellow shadow print dress with matching panties.  Still retains nice body with  no repairs, no stains , no tears/splits in the fabric and no browning that sometimes happens with some of these early organdy fabrics and results in weak fabric; not here.  This outfit is in such nice overall condition and panties have great elastic in waist and legs too.  She wears a nice little stiff slip to help her outfit stand out even more than it naturally does; just a little extra poof.  To complete her total look she wears black center snap excellent original shoes with no repairs, strong holding and working snaps and vintage Vogue yellow rayon socks.  She carries her cute little black patent plastic triangular purse too.  Her wonderful true vintage 1950's factory yellow hair bow is held on with a gold tone barrette that was used with these bows.  This is and original vintage Vogue bow in her hair and not one of the ones that were made in the 1980's that are often used.  This doll has everything going for her and more we think.  She will come with the little bow, flowers and even the original staple from the bow that was what Vogue would use on the dressed boxed dolls they sold.  Please take a look at all her photos and see if she isn't one you might enjoy.
