Vintage Vogue GINNY 1953 "CHERYL" Outfit - Excellent!

Description

Up for auction is a beautiful outfit for a vintage Vogue Ginny. The outfit is from the 1953 Tiny Miss Series and is #44 CHERYL. You can find a Ginny in "Cheryl" on p. 103 of the pink Izen/Stover "Collector's Encyclopedia of Vogue Dolls". This outfit consists of a blue taffeta dress with pleated taffeta band at the skirt hem, and silver braid on cap sleeves and bodice. The dress has not been laundered and is tagged with the 1953 "Original Vogue Dolls Inc." tag.  There are no holes, stains, or damage and it retains great color and shine.  One little white flower seems to be missing from the flower trim.  There are matching blue taffeta bloomers with great all original stretch and no damage. Finally there is the straw hat with flower trim and good stretchy chin strap.  I've shown this gorgeous outfit on my own Ginny for you to see the fit and how beautiful it looks on a doll.  The Ginny is not included in this auction, but simply modeling.  All in all a lovely Cheryl outfit to dress up one of your Ginnys!  Please take a look at our other vintage dolls this week, too. thanks!
