Three Vintage Ginny Doll Outfits Hand-knit in 1955

These are three Ginny dolls outfits my grandmother knit for me in 1955. They're in great shape.
The blue one has knitted underwear attached as well as a hat with pompon and ties.
The green on has the dress and a hat with a pompon.
The purple one has a purple skirt with sequins, white top with purple sequins, a sequined purple hair decoration, and hook and eyes in the back. The elastic at the waist of the skirt is tight.
In the early 1950s, my best friend's mother worked at the Vogue factory in Medford MA, not far from my house. She often used to bring me Ginny and Ginnette outfits from that factory, and I would play with them with great loving care. My wonderful grandmother supplemented my collection with original masterpieces, like these. My Ginny days are over now, and I am finding new homes for these items, where they will be appreciated for the link to the past that they are.
