We are offering an adorable early 1949-50  sleep eye hard plastic strung Vogue Ginny Crib Crowd hard plastic baby doll wearing her favorite outfit, tagged & named Sally.  She is marked on her back Vogue Doll, hard plastic, jointed baby.  She has been restrung due to old rubber bands drying out, so now she can pose and display nicely for you to enjoy.   She is 7 1/2-8" with adorable molded curved baby legs.   She has beautiful soft factory coloring with visible transitional typical colored lashes and brows.  Her eyes are the smaller eyes and tri-color that these early dolls often had and helps to give her that extra special sweet baby look.  She has no touchups and
hair has not been washed, curled or redone
in any way.  She has the soft waves so reminiscent of the slightly earlier crib crowd dolls.  Nice and full and a pretty  tosca reddish color (may show brighter in some photos than in person);
no glue residue
.  Her eyes do open and close, sometimes freely, but will often need a tap on her head to open.  She has been well taken care of and comes to you a beautiful tagged crib crowd dress with attached white slip (see photos).  Clean, with no tears and no repairs.  The crib crowd dolls did not come or have many original crib crowd outfits so often you see them wearing some of her sister's outfits.  This sweet girl is wearing an original Crib Crowd tagged outfit which is so pretty.   Light blue dimity with bertha lace trimmed collar accented with a small bow.  Vogue made only a handful of outfits for the crib crowd dolls and named them and sold as dressed dolls.   You rarely find the crib crowd dolls dressed with Vogue issued crib crowd outfits specifically made by Vogue for them, but even less often when do they have their original issued rare rubber/plastic white  pants.  Her plastic pants waist and leg elastic has relaxed some but because they are, like most if found, a little stiff they stay on fine.  She wears vintage rayon socks tied with the blue ribbons as many of the early ones did, sometimes also found with tie shoes or center snaps.   Sally is ready to find a new home and be enjoyed; she is sweet, all Vogue Crib Crowd and looking forward to traveling.  She will come to you with a few diapers that were made by Vogue and are from the 1950's, plus a little rattle and tiny duck; all vintage.
