    Description

    This is a serviced
    Grey Esterbrook Icicle LJ
    , with a
    #1555 steel nib
    (
    Firm Fine - Gregg Shorthand
    ), in excellent condition.
    The pen has been
    fully serviced
    . It was disassembled, the nib and feed were ultrasonically cleaned, a new sac was installed and the pen was manually and lightly polished after covering the imprints and metal parts. After assembling the pen, it was inspected, tested and the nib was adjusted for smoothness.
    it writes nicely, with good flow and should be ready to write for many years.
    Nib:
    Stainless Steel, a smooth #1555 (Firm Fine - Gregg Shorthand). Please, see the writing sample in the last photo (the squares are 5mm x 5mm).
    Size:
    approximately 5 1/16 inches (12.9 cm) capped.
    Filling system:
    Lever filler, with a new sac.
    Plastic:
    The plastic is very clean with no cracks or deep scratches. There is one visible light scratch on the cap, about 1/8 in, about half-way between the clip and the cap band, towards the back of the cap, which I was unable to show in the pictures (it should show in photo #4).
    Trim:
    Stainless Steel, excellent.
