Vintage Black Esterbrook J, Single 3-ribbed Jewel, Fountain Pen - Restored with unique imprint.  Nib 2668 General Writing
This fountain pen is a single 3-ribbed jewel "J" Esterbrook Fountain Pen. It is in excellent condition. Will make a lovely addition to anyone's collection or for an everyday writer. All of the Esterbrook pens can easily swap out a different nib, simply by unscrewing it and replacing it with a new nib that may have a different firmness or line width. It's like a pen transformer! This is a lever fill fountain pen. There will be instructions with this pen on how to fill it with ink from a bottle. The 2668 nib is a general writing nib. It's smooth and comfortable to write with. Classic Black little pen! Pen measures 5 inches from Jewel top to flat bottom.
Two things to point out on this pen besides the 3 ribbed jewel. The Imprint is not typical there is no R Register Mark.  See photo and the Clip does not include an imprint with the name ESTERBROOK on it as seen in typical caps. This is a rare find.
* Nib and feed ultrasonically cleaned and adjusted for smoothness and flow.
* New rubber sac installed.
* Exterior cleaned and polished.
* Pen tested to confirm it fills and writes.
