Description

What you get in this auction:
An Esterbrook Fountain Pen, "Phaeton" black with black taper and 447 desk base.
The pen is in excellent vintage condition.  See note below.
Pen length is 7".
The pen was made in Mexico.  The inscription on the barrel is "Esterbrook / Hecho En Mexico Marca Re"
The 447 round plastic base is in near perfect condition and is inscribed, "Esterbrook."
The section and barrel show a tiny bit or wear.  The taper is near mint.
This is a very rare Esterbrook model.  It is the only vintage Pheaton on Ebay as of the date of this listing.  There are many "new" ones available.
See my writing sample on a dip.  It wrote like a dream.

I'll send a dried Esterbrook cartridge but we have found that modern Sheaffer cartridges (not included) will fit.
