The “Big Red” multi-stripper from Platinum Tools™ has many great features and gives you a tool that can replace a number of your other tools. This tool does it all. It can cut and strip almost every cable you will encounter during an installation job.
Perfect Every Time
This tool makes it simple and easy to strip coax to a perfect, ¼” - ¼” prep. Simply place the cable on the blades then spin it around the wire to give you a perfect cut every time.
Just Flip It!
This tool can strip all of the most common coax cables. The BR1 equipped with a duel sided blade cassette capable of stripping RG6, RG59, RG7, and RG11. And with the pre measured stops, there is no need to guess the length; making for quicker and more accurate strips.
Adjustable Blade
With a simple the twist of a dial, the stripping blade adjusts to the perfect length to either strip twisted pair or audio cable.
Precise Cut
With this tool you get two cutting blades. One blade cuts round wire such as network, coax, and speaker cable. The other blade is able to cut flat phone cable.
Strong Springs
The BR1 is equipped with two springs that are safely located deep into the tool. The resilient springs provide exceptional tension giving you perfect pressure when stripping wire. The strong springs also help return the handles back to the proper position to be ready for the next task.
Give Your Fingers a Break
Your hands are important. Help them out by avoiding that stubborn metal braid that can poke and stick your fingers. Located conveniently on the bottom of the BR1 is a Velcro comb for folding the braid back over the cable jacket.
Speed Ring
Located on the handle, the speed ring makes it quick and easy to strip the jacket off of the wire. Simply place your finger in and spin it around the wire. This allows you to get the job done faster; ensuring that you can use your time and effort elsewhere.
