Pair Vintage Amethyst Pressed Glass Laurel Leaf Tiered Pedestal Cake Stands  ***   For sale is a pair of tiered pressed glass pedestal cake stands in deep purple/amethyst.  The larger piece measures 11-3/4" in diameter and the smaller cake stand is 9" in diameter; both pieces are about 3-1/8" tall.  The top of these plates is smooth glass, with a pattern of sunburst in the center, and laurel leaves surrounding the ruffled edge.  The pedestals of the stands have a fluted pattern.
Although some of the photos in this listing display only one cake stand, the buyer will receive the pair of two cake stands pictured in the first photo.
We do not know the exact age or the manufacturer of these pieces.  Both are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or scratches.  There may be a few bubbles that are part of the manufacturing process.  These would be a lovely addition to a table of delicious treats for your guests.
