Here we have up for auction is an amazing piece of medical machinery. This is an operating table from around the mid 1940z, or possibly earlier. Table is in 100% working order.
Has no power, re (electric). Table is 100% mechanical. This is the real deal. Solid iron !!! All cranks work properly, and pedals operate table height and allows the table to swivel left to right. Table is on rolling casting wheels, which will require replacement, BUT they are the original wheels. The only mark I see as to its manufacturing is THE KNY. SCHEEPER CORP. OF AMERICA. The holes that are empty by the dolly it rests on are where wheels insert. One wheel is still in place as seen in photo.
This medical table would be a great addition and conversation piece to any home or medical office after its restored. Great project for that special person who loves to see something go from this, to an amazing finished restored gem.
Table comes from a very prestigious hospital in Hollywood, Fl. Hospital has been around since the late 30z.
