Open Sugar Bowl and Creamer Set Avalon Pattern Tuscan Bone China England

Description

A Tuscan fine bone china creamer/milk jug and open sugar bowl set in the Avalon pattern. Made in England. White bone china with scalloped rims and decorated with a repeated pattern of blue scrolling and light brown outlining and embellishments along with a repeated design of one bright pink and one yellow flower with four green dots. Gold-brushed rims, around bases, and on handle. Tuscan was made in Staffordshire at the RH & SL Plant and the back stamp on this set dates between 1947 and 1966. Crazing is present. No cracks or chips, only minor wear. Creamer measures approx. 3.75" long x 3.5" tall x 2.75" wide and sugar bowl measures approx. 4" wide at widest x 2 1/8" tall. This set feels very 1950s fresh and light to me.
