HTF Vintage Vogue Ginny Transitional 1952 Stina .
Stina and her brother Sten are rarely offered for sale but here she is!
OUTFIT
Center snap Greek key Oil cloth RED shoes with smooth bottoms. One has a tag on it, most likely had original store price
Deep blood red original socks that match red in outfit have some stretch at ankle. I did not remove shoes or socks.
Her corduroy skirt is clean, soft and flared
Blue vest is felt and has hidden hook and eye
Light Pink blouse is attached to skirt and is in very good condition
I see no holes or rips. The two original red felt dots are missing. They were originally glued on so can be easily replaced
DOLL
Transitional strung skinny braid doll
HARD TO FIND these captivating small very dark brown eyes that were only sometimes found with transitional dolls as Vogue experimented. They got this perfectly beautiful combination here with the tine dark eyes, skinny braids and silky straight straight fine hair. She looks so tiny, sweet and gentle!
This doll has been restrung. Eyes need help to close which is common after 70+ years.
Hot cheeks, no rubs
Not easily noticed are her Lashes and Brows that have begun to turn, now golden. They still blend in and look lovely with her hair
Sweet face Matt finish face
Blonde original skinny braids are pinned up under hat but can be let down. Vogue did that with some character dolls
