    Description
    Up for sale is a used Heathkit model SG-8 RF generator with cable. The RF generator has been recapped and tested. I have tested the generator for the proper sine wave output and I have injected a tone into a AM channel which worked. I did not change out the selenium rectifier or any of the ceramic caps. I did test 4 of the ceramics and they were all right on for capacitance. The ceramic caps usually do hold up and keep their value. I brought this up slowly on a variac to make sure the selenium rectifier was okay and I had no problem. I ran this for over a hour without any problems. The case and front panel are in very good condition and all the knobs are original and there. The assembly and instruction manual is available for download on-line.
