The fountain pen lever is nice and springy.  The bladder is soft and supple (new one was installed).  This pen is guaranteed to write.
The pencil has .046 lead, replacement leads and a good eraser. The lead emerges and retracts properly when pushing the cap.
This will be a great work horse for you, or look nice in your Esterbrook collection.  It will come to you in a nice box (not original).
