Condition:  This pen is beautiful.  It has a flat bottom.  The pencil is also a beauty. It has a few flecks in the finish of the cap.
The fountain pen lever is nice and springy.  The bladder is soft and supple (new one was installed).  This pen is guaranteed to write.
The pencil has .046 lead and a good eraser. The lead emerges and retracts properly when pushing the cap.
This will be a great work horse for you, or look nice in your Esterbrook collection.
