Ginny 1953 "Vogue" Tag "Karen" Dress with Sheer Apron +Hat & Bloomers (No Doll)

This is a 1953 #63 KAREN from the Debutante Series
It is shown on page 109 of The Colorful World of Ginny (2nd revision).

o  This vintage 1953 Ginny dress has a skinny "Vogue" tag.  It is a blue taffeta dress with white lace trim and closes with a hook and bar. The dress has very nice coloring, since the blue often faded.   I found no holes or tears.
o  The apron needed to be repaired.  I had to rebuild the organdy sleeves and straps using vintage organdy fabric.  The majority of the apron is original with just the sheer organdy being replaced since it had tears.  ORIGINAL to the apron are: the pink ribbon ties, pink bow, lace on the sleeve part that matches the dress and the main part of the apron itself.
o  The vintage hat is pink horsehair with pink ribbon ties and a bunch of flowers on one side.  I added the pink bow to the back (it is simply put on with a pin and can be easily removed, if desired).
o  I made the white taffeta Ginny-style bloomers using vintage taffeta.
