Ginny 1953 "Vogue" Tag "Becky" Dress w-Hat + Slip & Bloomers (No Doll)

This is a 1953 #62 BECKY from the Debutante Series
It is shown on page 112 of The Colorful World of Ginny (2nd revision).

o  This vintage 1953 Ginny dress has a skinny "Vogue" tag.  It has a black velvety bodice with 2 pink roses.  The skirt area is an intricate pointed edge sheer white organdy (this version is not seen as often as the version with the more straight hem edge).  It has a hook and bar closure.   I found no holes or tears.
o  The vintage black horsehair hat is the one designed for this outfit.  It has pink ribbon bows on each side and an elastic chin strap.
o  I made the white taffeta Ginny-style bloomers and slip using vintage taffeta.  The slip give the dress fullness and makes a nice addition to the sheer skirted dress.
