1555 is Firm Fine.  Secretaries in the 1950s used these nibs to take shorthand!
This nib is New from Old Stock, never inked.
The nib is iridium tipped for smooth beautiful writing.
This was one of Esterbrook's most popular.  Fine lovers love this nib.

What's special about this nib is its box.  It is not your ordinary small red and gray box.  These nibs were manufactured in England and came in a white folded box as pictured.  The nib is new/mint and has a clear collar.
