    Description

Daisy Model 1894 Spittin’ Image Plunger Spring Removal Fork. Also fits Models 499, and Red Ryder.
This tool will not work in the new Red Ryders made in China, the 95, or the 99.  Will be too tight.
The Daisy Manual refers to a "Plunger Fork Tool" that can be used to depress the Main Spring for removal of the Anchor Pin.
The Factory Tool is no longer available but any servicing of the plunger seal requires removal from the barrel.
This is a 3D printed ABS part that fits over a piece of 1/2" wood dowel and has the correct shape to depress the plunger spring for removal or replacement of the Anchor Pin. This tool is plastic and it is fragile, but used carefully and repaired with Super Glue ® when signs of splitting appear
(instructions included), it will work for many uses.
