Description

The AUDI Universal Traffic Recorder is a second set of eyes while you are on the road or even parked. It consists of two cameras, one front facing and one rear, that are controlled by your smartphone via a free app that connects to the systems built in Wi-Fi hotspot. The cameras can then record any traffic incidents while your driving or parked thru one of three modes you can select: Standard, records from when you start the car to when you shut it off. Event, records when triggered by an impact. And Park mode records detected motion or impact when the vehicle is parked or shut off, an intelligent battery management system ensures it wont drain your vehicles battery. Information recorded in all modes is saved to an SD card where users can access it from, or the internal storage in their smartphone (Apple iOS 6 or later or Android 4.2 or later). The built in GPS system can also help locate your vehicle when parked.
The system does require installation and comes with a harness system, contact your local dealer for installation.
