Use maintenance and precautions
1.Remove the electrode protective sleeve before the test, (the solution in the sleeve is 3.3mol / lKCL, if there is crystal leakage, it is normal and does not affect the use of the electrode)
2. Observe whether the inside of the sensitive bulb is completely filled with liquid. If bubbles are found, the electrode should be shaken gently (like a thermometer) to clear the bubbles in the sensitive bulb, otherwise the test accuracy will be affected.
Calibration and testing of electrode and PH meter
1.Connect the PH electrode to the input terminal of the PH instrument and connect it correctly.
2. Perform calibration according to the instruction manual of the instrument, and wait for measurement after the calibration result.
.Electrode preservation and maintenance
1.The electrode uses an electric gap.After cleaning the electrode with distilled water, dry it in a protective bottle and inject the solution to activate it before the next test.
2.If the electrode is not used for a long period of time, it should be rinsed clean and the residual distilled water absorbed.
3.The sensitive glass bulb at the front of the electrode should not be in contact with hard objects, any damage and fretting will make the electrode invalid.
4. After long-term use of the electrode, the slope and response speed of the electrode may be reduced. The measuring end of the electrode can be immersed in 4% HF for 3-5 seconds or in a dilute HCL solution for 1-2 minutes. Rejuvenate by soaking in potassium solution
