    1976 COLORFORMS & BOBBS-MERRILL CO. "RAGGEDY ANN 8 GREAT ACTIVITIES" #930C: PAPER DOLL, PUZZLE, PUPPET SHOW & MORE!!
    I am STILL continuing into ITEMS FROM my late sister's collections.  Where the number of Paper Doll sets are just STAGGERING!! I will do my best to describe items but keep in mind I really know nothing about the subject other than what I can find on the internet.  It will not upset me at all if someone more knowledgeable that me on the subject cares to add some input.
    This PLAYSET is made of CARDBOARD AND VINYL and was made by COLORFORMS IN CONJUNCTION WITH BOBBS-MERRILL CO. in 1976.  This kit features the adorable and charming, Bobbs-Merrill character, RAGGEDY ANN.  This set is atypical of most of the Colorforms sets that I have seen, it does not have vinyl pieces to dress a doll.  Instead this set has 8, yes, 8 GREAT ACTIVITIES FROM A: PAPER DOLL WITH CHANGES OF CLOTHING, TO A TIC-TAC-TO GAME, TO A JIGSAW PUZZLE TO WORK, TO A PUPPET THEATER AND FINGER PUPPETS, TO A MAGIC PICTURE OF RAGGEDY ANN, TO MAGIC SPINNERS, AND A SET OF DANCING DOLLS.  The box notes that it originally had Play Jewelry in the set, but do not see any jewelry pieces.  Check out my photos and the round picture pieces are to be used on the Tic-Tac-To game.  The Paper Doll in the set has clothing that stays on the doll by manipulating the collar on the dress to encircle the neck of the doll.  In doing so, it has caused the paper doll to have a crease in her neck that may need some added support.  The paper doll is 5 1/2 inches tall and does have a cardboard stand among all of the toys.  The Jigsaw Puzzle in the set is COMPLETE and features also Raggedy Ann's other friends and her mate, Raggedy Andy.   PLEASE STAY TUNED AS I HAVE SO MUCH MORE OF THE COLLECTION TO GO THROUGH!!
