Here is a darling vintage Vogue Ginny Doll, painted eye, strung, hard plastic doll. The painted eye Ginny was made from 1948-1950. She has light blue eyes with black pupil, paint is original, lashes and brows are light, but all accounted for. She has a pale face with peach colored lips, original blond mohair wig with bangs and curls at shoulders. Doll is dressed as Alice in Wonderland, tagged "Vogue Dolls" with wavy line design which was used for years 1950 -1951. Blue dress with white braid stitched at hem, closes with hook and eye, organdy pinafore style apron in white organdy, replaced pantaloons, black center snap shoes is very good condition without repair, and black velvet ribbon in hair. She is just adorable, she holds a cat, not for Cheshire cat, but when I was a little girl and read the books I remember Alice having a cat, but I don't remember the name. I have tried to remember, maybe you know and can tell me :-) All is in is in very good condition, doll stand is included, please look at photos and ask questions if needed, enjoy L
